Eligibility

Education :
- Principal: 12 years of experience as a PGT or lecturer, 50% Master’s degree, and 50% B.Ed.
- PGT (Post Graduate Teacher): 50% must hold a Master’s degree in the field, and 50% must hold a B.Ed.
- PGT (Computer Science): 50% on an M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), MCA, or M.E./M.Tech score.
- A Bachelor’s degree (50%) in the relevant field, a B.Ed. degree (50%) and successful completion of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II are prerequisites for TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher).
- Computer Science TGT: BCA or Computer Science/IT Graduation or BE/B.Tech (CS/IT) with 50%.
- Music Teacher: 50% on a bachelor’s degree in music or performing arts.
- Art Teacher: 50% on the Fine Arts/Drawing & Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art Bachelor’s degree.
- Physical Education Teacher (PET): 50% on a Bachelor of Physical Education in Education (B.P.Ed.) degree.
- Librarian: a 50% graded bachelor’s degree in library science or library and information science.
- Hostel Warden: Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
- Female Staff Nurse: Registered as a Nurse, has 2.5 years of experience in a 50-bed hospital, and holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing or its equivalent.
- Accountant: Commerce Bachelor’s Degree (B.Com).
- Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Must have completed the 12th grade and be able to type 35 words per minute in English or 30 for Hindi.
- Lab Attendant: Either completed the Science stream in the 12th grade or earned a certificate or certification in laboratory technique after passing the 10th grade.
Age Limit
- Principal: No more than fifty years.
- PGT: Under 40 years old.
- TGT & Additional Teaching Positions: No more than 35 years.
- Staff nurse and hostel warden: up to 35 years.
- Lab Attendant, JSA, and Accountant: No more than 30 years.
- Age Relaxation: In accordance with government regulations, age relaxation is granted to reserved categories (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10-15 years). Employees at EMRS may apply up until the age of 55.
