- Production Superintending Engineer: four-year engineering graduate degree with 65% OR a two-year, 60%-graded postgraduate degree in petroleum engineering or technology.
- Senior Officer (Chemical): two-year postgraduate degree in chemistry with 60%.
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant engineering discipline (4 years) with at least 65% of the possible points is required for the following engineering disciplines: Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Petroleum, IT, Mechanical, Fire & Safety, HSE, and E&C.
- Associate Member of ICAI/ICMAI, Senior Accounts Officer/Auditor.
- Public Affairs Senior Officer: Two-year postgraduate degree in social work with 60%.
- Senior Geophysics/Geology Officer: Two-year postgraduate degree in Geophysics/Geology with 60%.
- Senior Legal/Land Officer: 60% in the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) exam.
- Senior Officer (HR): two years of postgraduate coursework in personnel management/IR/HR, such as an MBA, with a minimum of 60%.

- Superintending Engineer (Grade C): UR/EWS up to 32 years.
- Grade B (Senior Officer): Depending on the position, this can range from 27 to 29 years for UR/EWS.
- Grade A (Hindi Officer/Confidential Secretary): 29 years for UR (HO) and up to 37 years for PwBD (CS).
- Relaxations: SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), PwBD (per regulations), and Ex-Servicemen (5 years) are eligible for age relaxation.
