NIT Eligibility 2025 for Non Teaching Posts
Officer for Student Activity & Sports (SAS):
- A master’s degree in sports science or physical education, or an equivalent degree with at least 60% of the possible points.
- The University/College must have participated in the State and/or national championships, as well as the Inter-University/Inter-Collegiate contests.
- Must have passed the physical fitness test and qualified for the national level exam administered by UGC or another authorized organization.
The superintendent
- A first-class bachelor’s degree in any field, or its equivalent, from an accredited university or institute. OR
- 2. A master’s degree with at least 50% of the possible points in any field, or an equivalent.
- Proficiency in computer programs such as Word processing and Spread Sheets is necessary.
Technical Assistant (Physics Department):
- A Bachelor of Science degree with honors from an accredited university or institute. OR
- 2. A Master of Science degree with at least 50% of the possible points, or an equivalent, from an accredited university or institute.
Technician (Civil Engineering Department):
- Senior secondary (10+2) with a minimum of 60% in science from an accredited board. OR
- 2. A civil engineering ITI course lasting at least a year and a senior secondary (10+2) diploma from an accredited board with at least 50% of the possible points. OR
- 3. A two-year ITI certificate in civil engineering and a secondary (10th) diploma with at least 60% of the possible points. OR
- 4. Three years of a diploma in civil engineering.
Department of Chemical and Biological Sciences Technician:
- Senior secondary (10+2) with a minimum of 60% in science from an accredited board. OR
- 2. Senior secondary (10+2) with a minimum of 50% and a one-year or longer ITI course in the relevant trade. OR
- 3. A two-year ITI Certificate in Chemical Engineering and a secondary (10th) diploma with at least 60% of the possible points.
- A three-year Chemical Engineering Diploma.
Age Limit : NIT Meghalaya Vacancy 2025
- Student Activity & Sports (SAS) Officer: Under 35 years old.
- Superintendent: No more than thirty years.
- Technical Assistant: No more than 30 years.
- Technician: No more than 27 years.
- The Government of India’s guidelines will govern the age relaxation for restricted categories.
