Qualifications for EIL Hiring in 2025
Make sure you fulfill all qualifying requirements before applying. Age, qualifications, and experience must be determined before August 31, 2025.
- Candidates must have a B.E., B.Tech, or B.Sc. (Engg.) degree from an accredited university or institution with at least 60% of the possible points, or an equivalent CGPA.

Experience
- For Associate Engineer Grade II, at least five years of relevant post-qualification experience in the relevant sector is necessary.
- For Grade III Associate Engineers, a minimum of nine years of relevant post-qualification experience in the relevant sector is necessary.
Age Limit
- The maximum age for Associate Engineer Grade II is 37 years old.
- The maximum age for Associate Engineer Grade III is 41 years old.
- Age Relaxation: In accordance with government regulations, age relaxation is applied to reserved categories.
- For SC/ST candidates, five years.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates have three years.
- For people with disabilities (PwD), ten years.
- Ex-servicemen are allowed to relax in accordance with the regulations.
