Armed Forces Medical Vacancy 2025 Eligibility
Education :
- Applicants must have a medical degree covered by the 2019 National Medical Council Act.
- Your final MBBS (Parts I and II) test must have been passed in no more than two tries.
- It is required to be permanently registered with any State Medical Council, NMC, or MCI.
- Candidates may also apply if they have a postgraduate degree (MD, MS, or DNB) approved by the State Medical Council, NBE, or NMC.
- Candidates need to have taken the 2024 or 2025 NEET PG exam. Those who already have a postgraduate degree are exempt from taking the NEET PG exam.
- Internship: By July 31, 2025, at the latest, you must have finished your required internship.
Age Limit
- Those with an MBBS degree must not be older than thirty. Candidates may apply if they were born on or after January 2, 1996.
- Those with a postgraduate degree must not be older than 35. Candidates may apply if they were born on or after January 2, 1991.
Medical and Physical Requirements
- Candidates who pass the interview will be examined medically by a Special Medical Examination Board (SMB).
- The board will evaluate your medical suitability in accordance with the guidelines established by the military.
- At the DGAFMS’s discretion, candidates who are deemed “UNFIT” may petition for an Appeal Medical Board (AMB) and then a Review Medical Board (RMB).
- The final choice is contingent upon being deemed medically fit.

Salary : AFMS 2025
A career in the AFMS offers many benefits and a very attractive income. You will be given the rank of Captain (or its equivalent in the Navy/Air Force) as a freshly commissioned officer.
