ECIL Recruitment 2025 Eligibility
Education :
- Candidates must hold a first-class B.E. with at least 60% of the possible points. or a B.Tech. degree from an accredited college or university.
- The following engineering specialties are necessary:
- Communication and Electronics Engineering (ECE)
- Engineering for Electronics and Telecommunication (ETC)
- Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering (E&I)
- Electronic devices
- Engineering for Electrical and Electronics (EEE)
- Engineering with electricity

- IT (information technology)
- Engineering of Mechanical Systems
- The minimal percentage is lowered to 50% for SC/ST candidates.
Experience
- One year or more of post-qualification experience is required.
- A one-year apprenticeship in a related field may also be included in this year.
- The experience should be related to production, industrial operations, electronic, electrical, or controls equipment repair, maintenance, or marketing.
- Production and operational experience with EVMs and VVPATs is also deemed important.
- Candidates should grasp the fundamentals of Microsoft Office.

- As of August 31, 2025, the maximum age for Unreserved (UR) applicants is thirty years old.
- According to government regulations, age relaxation is granted to restricted categories:
- OBC: three years of leisure
- SC/ST: five years of leisure
- Ten years of relaxation above and beyond their category relaxation for people with benchmark disabilities (PwBD).
