- Project Engineer: A first-class BE/B.Tech degree from an accredited university or institution with at least 60% of the possible points.

- Assistant Project Engineer: A first-class diploma from an accredited school or university with at least 60% of the possible points.
- Senior Artisan: Certificate of ITI Pass.
- Junior Artisan: Certificate of ITI Pass.
Experience :
- Project Engineer: three years of experience following qualification.
- Technical Officer: one year of experience following qualification.
- One year of post-qualification experience as an assistant project engineer.
- Senior Artisan: two years of experience following qualification.
- Junior Artisan: one year of experience following qualification.

Instructions for the Walk-In Interview:
- Download the Application: To begin, get the application from the official ECIL website (which is also included below).
- Complete the Form: Complete the application as accurately and completely as possible.
- Collect Records: Assemble a set of self-attested photocopies and the required original documents. The following documents are needed:
- A 10th class certificate attesting to the date of birth.
- Mark sheets and certificates of qualification.
- Certificates of experience.
- A certificate of category (if appropriate).
- Identity verification (passport, Aadhar, etc.).
- If appropriate, a PwD certificate.
- Certificate of discharge for veterans.
- Arrive at the Location: On the designated day and time, report to the appropriate zonal office. The hours for registration are 9:00 to 11:30.
Selection Process
Verification of Documents
In order to verify their documents, candidates must first appear. Bringing a set of self-attested photocopies and all of the original certificates is essential. The candidates will not be permitted to move on to the next phase until their documents have been successfully verified.
Individual Interview
A personal interview will be used to analyze the shortlisted individuals. Merit, which is determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and performance during the in-person interview, will determine the ultimate selection. Each has the following weight:
- Eligibility: 20%
- Pertinent Experience: 30%
- In-person interview: 50%
