Eligibility

Education :

  1. LDC, or lower division clerk:
    • Must have graduated from a recognized university or board with a 12th grade diploma or its equivalent.
    • A computer typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi.
  2. JHS, or junior hydrographic surveyor:
    • A civil engineering degree, OR
    • A civil engineering diploma combined with three years of hydrographic or land surveying experience, OR
    • Indian Navy SR I/II having seven years of navigation and hydrography experience.
    • Proficiency in computer programming is desirable.
  3. Officer of Senior Accounts (SAO):
    • A degree from an accredited academic institution.
    • Professional certification obtained by completing the Indian Audit and Accounts Department’s SAS Commercial exam, the Institute of Costs and Works Accountants’ final exam, or the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’s final exam.
    • Must have worked in the Finance or Accounts Department of the Central or State Government, a Semi-Govt. organization, or a reputable commercial business for three years in a supervisory role in commercial accounts.
    • A business management degree or diploma is preferred.

  1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 18–27 years old.
  2. JHS (Junior Hydrographic Surveyor): Under 30 years old.
